Sony Electronics Sony TRV Handicam Driver. I have a Sony DCR-TRV730E Handicam and could not read this files on the memory stick over USB.

Sony say is is "Not Compatible" with Vista:

I tried their latest driver for XP but it regognises it is on an incompatible O/S and stops.

I tried the earlier version from the install CD and it works! This is the driver I installed.

There are a few other models mentioned on the (in)compatibility list - hopefully this version of the driver will work under Vista for you too. :)
