Comments:
1. ECP support
This release of the Philips PC Camera PCA635VC supports both ECP and bi-directional parallel port. In order to achieve the maximum performance, ECP should be used. The default setting is currently set to auto which will automatically detect the current mode of the parallel port. In order to achieve the maximum performance, it is recommended that the parallel port be configured to ECP mode. For most system, ECP mode in the host computer need to be enabled from the BIOS setup screen. For detail on how to enable the ECP mode, please refer to the documentation of the system.
Known issues
1. EPP mode of the parallel port is not supported. If the parallel port in your system is currently configured to EPP mode, it will need to be changed to either bi-directional or ECP mode through the BIOS setup utility.
